The Department of Education (DepEd) is set to soft-launch DepEd TV through a partnership with Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) and Solar Learning, expanding the agency’s broadcast-based learning platforms in line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s and Secretary Sonny Angara’s push for wider, more equitable access to 21st century education.

TAGUIG CITY — To strengthen the workforce behind the country’s youngest learners, the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) formally inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on December 12 to advance Early Childhood Development (ECD) training in the Philippines. The signing was held at the TESDA Central Office in Taguig City.

TAYTAY, RIZAL - To address the growing need for quality early childhood care and development support in high-density communities, the Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce (Phil) Inc. (FICCI) conducted the Knowledge Channel Early Childhood Care and Education (KCare) Training Program in Taytay, Rizal.

The Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) bagged seven awards at the Anak TV Seal Awards 2025 – Television Category, recognizing its flagship educational programs for delivering child-friendly, values-driven, and curriculum-aligned content to Filipino learners and families.

In celebration of National Children’s Month (NCM), the Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI), in partnership with the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC), held the Early Childhood Development (ECD) online conference entitled "Connected with Care: Guiding Young Children in Safe and Developmentally Appropriate Media Use" on November 22 via Facebook Live.

BUGALLON, PANGASINAN — The Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI), together with the Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), held a joint celebration on October 25 in Bugallon, Pangasinan to honor the graduation of young learners from the AgriKids Training Program. The event also marked the official launch of 10 new episodes of the AgriKids video series, which now expands to include topics for Grades 6 to 8.

Aligned with this November’s National Children’s Month (NCM) theme, “OSAEC‑CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban!”, the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. PASAY CITY — The Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) received multiple child-friendly content awards as the National Council for Children’s Television (NCCT) launched its new roster of funded educational content, including KCFI’s “Kinder Yes!”, during the council’s 28th Anniversary Kickoff on October 24, at Pasay City.

Every November, the Philippines celebrates both Filipino Values Month and National Children’s Month — two national observances that remind us of the importance of raising a generation rooted in compassion, respect, and love, while also upholding the rights and well-being of every child.
