MINI Blooms have fun learning with Knowledge Channel at MINIverse Fan Meet

Amidst the sweltering heat of the Pantropiko summer break, ‘MINI Blooms’ from all over the country gathered at the first-ever MINIverse Fan Meet, an exclusive party for young BINI fans aged 3 to 12, on April 27 at One Ayala Space, Makati.
KCFI brought the Knowledge-On-The-Go game to the MINIverse Fan Meet
And it wasn’t only BINI that made the day for the MINI Blooms, but Knowledge Channel as well with its booth of fun activities topped by a “BINIfied” Knowledge-On-The-Go game, where MINI Blooms rolled the dice and playfully answered questions. MINI Blooms who got correct answers received goodie bags with story books and stickers featuring BINI members and Knowledge Channel characters. Bloom parents and guardians also joined in the fun and took and posted photos with their children and their prizes.

Teachers-on-school-break are invited to attend KCFI’s free online training series, “WATCH. LEARN. TEACH.,” on May 23 and May 30. The training aims to enhance teaching strategies in both reading and mathematics by putting together KCFI video lessons and fun-learning activities and learning. The teaching reading session on May 23 will explore challenges and solutions in listening, comprehension, and vocabulary. Meanwhile, the math session on May 30 will focus on estimation, counting, and scaffolding strategies for problem-solving. The training series will provide four (4) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points to the first 50,000 registered Licensed Professional Teacher attendees.
Students from the National University - Dasmariñas bags the top prize for Class Project 2025 with their entry, Para Kay Bhie
“Para Kay Bhie,” an inspiring story about a minor who finds hope and empowerment after experiencing sexual abuse and inequity, was named as the winner of KCFI and the Philippine Association of Communication Educators’ (PACE) Class Project Intercollegiate Mini-Documentary Competition 2025, held during the Pinoy Media Congress at the University of Makati on April 25. From students of National University - Dasmariñas, the documentary follows a child who overcomes pain from hardships by becoming a force for change, embracing his identity, and receiving justice. “Ilaw” by La Verdad Christian College - Caloocan, which is about a mother’s unwavering support to her child with special needs, placed second, while University of Makati’s “Uhap,” which highlights efforts to preserve the Ayta Agbukun language in the province of Bataan, placed third. The winning films and finalists of Class Project are airing throughout the month of May on the Knowledge Channel.
KCFI’s Danie Sedilla-Cruz served as one of the key speakers for the Pinoy Media Congress
KCFI Partnerships Head Danie Sedilla-Cruz engaged the over 1,000 delegates on a talk on producing educational content. She encouraged them, who are mostly media and communication majors to champion in their future work, Early Childhood Development (ECD) and transformative learning, recognizing the power that future media practitioners have in transforming the lives of the Filipino.
