KCFI, S&P Global Renew Partnership to Support Early Learning in Child Development Centers
Meaningful and engaging early learning is becoming more accessible to children and Child Development Workers/Teachers (CDW/Ts) as S&P Global renews its partnership with the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) to support Early Childhood Development (ECD) through the provision of Knowledge Channel Portable Media Library (KCPML) packages.
In celebration of Global Volunteering Week, S&P Global volunteers and KCFI visited La Paz Child Development Center (CDC) in Makati City on September 15, where they joined the children in an art activity and play. The activity also marked the turnover of a KCPML package from S&P Global for the CDC.
As part of the activity, KCFI facilitated a viewing of Musikantahan, one of its ECD shows that uses music, movement, and storytelling to make learning engaging and age-appropriate for children. The show is among the multimedia resources available through the KCPML, a portable hard drive containing hundreds of KCFI video lessons, learning guides, and other materials that CDW/Ts can integrate into their sessions.
With these resources at hand, CDW/Ts can provide young learners with varied ways to explore new ideas and concepts without the need of an internet connection.

The renewed partnership will provide a total of five KCPML packages to Makati City and Tanuan City, Batangas, bringing KCFI’s multimedia resources to more CDW/Ts and young learners. In February 2026, S&P Global and KCFI previously collaborated to gift a Knowledge Channel TV (KCTV) package to Area 1 CDC in Parañaque, reflecting a shared commitment to support ECD in the Philippines.
