A Big “Yes!” to Fun Learning: Knowledge Channel and NCCT Launch “Kinder Yes!” for Early Learners

Pasig City, Philippines – The Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) and National Council for Children’s Television (NCCT) are set to debut Kinder Yes!, a fun-filled educational video series for young Filipino learners, starting August 18, 2025, on the Knowledge Channel. This new program aims to promote intellectual, physical, social and emotional development as well as communication skills, critical thinking, creativity, and values formation of the children. 

Anchored on the Department of Education’s (DepEd) curriculum and Kindergarten exemplars, Kinder Yes! uses songs, rhymes, dances, colorful graphics, and engaging animations that are all based on local culture and values. The seven-episode series introduce foundational concepts of literacy, numeracy, environmental consciousness, and Filipino identity through engaging and fun ways. 

The pilot episode, “Mga Tunog sa Paligid,” will introduce everyday sounds, the Filipino alphabet, shapes and sizes, and the story of Pamilyang Tilaok. Episode 2, “Mga Tao sa Komunidad,” will present various community members and locations, basic counting, and alphabet lessons. Episode 3, “Mga Lugar sa Komunidad,” will highlight different places and vehicles found in the community, sound concepts, pattern creation, and alphabet lessons.  

The learning continues Episode 4, “Ako at ang Aking Bansa,” that will take children on a journey across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao while teaching quantity comparison and alphabet lessons. Episode 5, “Ako at ang Aking Bansa II,” will focus on object classification, environmental care, Philippine currency, and alphabet lessons. Episode 6, “Ako at ang Aking Kapaligiran,” will explore weather patterns, missing parts of a picture, pictographs, and alphabet lessons. Episode 7, “Ako at ang Aking Kapaligiran II,” will teach children about disaster preparedness, go-bag essentials, sorting objects by size, shape, and function, along with alphabet lessons. 

Kinder Yes! premieres on Monday, August 18, 2025. Viewers can watch the episodes every Monday to Friday at 6:20 AM with replays at 6:20 PM. The program will be available on SKYcable (Metro Manila Ch. 5; Provincial Ch. 203), Cablelink (Metro Manila Ch. 4), and PCTA Affiliated Cable Operators; Cignal Channel 146, GSAT Channel 3, Satlite Channel 182; DTT via BEAM 31.3; and streaming via iWant.
