 EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATIONAL TRANSFORMATION AWARDS

The Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) believes in the power of transformative learning. With the Excellence in Educational Transformation Awards (EETA), KCFI recognizes the efforts of various education institutions that carry the same belief in transformative learning by improving their quality of education through innovative programs and projects.  

Since 2011, KCFI has partnered with Bayan Academy and Rex Bookstore to honor schools around the country that carry the best practices in changing their education landscape. The criteria for the awards include innovations based on learning effectiveness, school efficiency, transferability and measurability of innovation, teacher or faculty development, and social mission.

Nine prestigious awards are given every year including the coveted Oscar M. Lopez (OML) Award for Collaborative Leadership in Education. These awards include a trophy and cash prize to support their transformative learning initiatives.

Through EETA, the Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. is able to encourage schools, no matter the location or size, to modernize its teaching force, benchmark academic standards, and create new models for education.
