Anticipating Knowledge Channel’s New Shows this 2023

From the 90s to now, the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) has never stopped developing new, engaging curriculum-based video lessons. Premiering this 2023 are new episodes on early childhood care and education, beginning reading and math, science, environment and agriculture, and Araling Panlipunan.

Under KCFI’s Basa Bilang Project (Read, Count), new episodes of Ready, Set, Read (RSR) for English grade 1, Wikaharian for Filipino grade 2, and MathDali for Math grade 1 will start airing in February. RSR, a series for learning oracy and beginning reading, is a collaboration with Rotary’s Global Grant initiated by the Rotary Club of Makati Premiere District. The new Wikaharian series on culture-based learning of reading skills in Filipino is co-developed with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the Office of Senator Loren Legarda. MathDali on number sense and bills was produced in partnership with BDO Foundation and Huawei Philippines.

New episodes of Puno ng Buhay cover intermediate science concepts on the environment and environmental protection. The Wow series on the provinces of the Philippines and their history, culture, natural resources, and people were developed with the support of Forest Foundation Philippines.

I Love You 1000 (ILY1000) for parents or care providers of children in their first 1000 days is a project with the Nutrition Council of the Philippines in line with the latter’s #BatangLaking1000 campaign. The AgriKids series, done with the Agricultural Training Institute of the Department of Agriculture, is learning agriculture for children in grades 3-4.

These new shows are hosted by Robi Domingo, MayMay Entrata and Elijah Canlas, Marlo Mortel and Majoy Apostol, Teacher Michelle Agas, Seth Dungca, and KCFI’s Director of Operations Edric Calma. Also, expect weekly new episodes from KCh’s digital shows Art Smart hosted by Teacher Precious, and Knowledge On The Go hosted by Coach Lyqa Maravilla.

A series of bullying, Heroes of Zero created by the Power of Zero and dubbed in Filipino by KCFI, will also premiere on the Knowledge Channel very soon.
