Rachel is a TV health reporter who is being assigned by her producer to different barangays to investigate and research about different diseases. Among the diseases that she needs to do researches on are filariasis, schistosomiasis and helminthiasis. Not only the danger of possibly getting infected by the diseases is the problem that Rachel is facing, but also the emotional affiliations that she has with the people that she meets upon doing the assignments. But despite the obstacles, Rachel, with the help of the cameraman Mang Romy, managed to successfully “make every assignment happen” and report her health researches to disseminate information to people.

Rachel, a TV reporter, is assigned to do research and report about the widespread of a disease in Brgy. Balik-tanaw. Rachel does not want to accept the assignment since she had a bad memory of the barangay, which turns out to be her hometown, but she has no choice. With the interviews from the local residents of the barangay, Rachel and cameraman Mang Romy, starts the research about filariasis, a disease caused by worms coming from the affected people and is transferred through mosquito bites. She goes home again after many years and finds out that her brother has filariasis with his leg looking larger than usual. Through the help of Rachel’s friend, June, she brings her brother to the local health center where free medical services and seminars are conducted for the local residents, especially for the affected ones.
