“Why?” is a science program for intermediate grades featuring Ida — a witty and funny “science expert” who loves to investigate scientific principles and phenomena. This series uses trivia, experiments, interesting animation, and graphics to explain the lessons. At the end of each episode, Ida calls on the pupils to act on the issue/s presented.

Nine year old Nico learns Philippine geography and history with the help of the magical character, Diway and the lovable animal puppet, Bobby Buot. Nico meets them in Ms. Cruz’s “magical” library where he hangs out during recess. Together, they discover relevant information on Social Studies through magical adventures “inside” the books. The program uses live action, animation and songs to make the study of geography and history more interesting and fun.
Alikabuk is a program in Philippine Literature (Intermediate Filipino) produced by Eskwela ng Bayan. It encourages students to read and appreciate Philippine Literature, and the teachers to better motivate the students by using day-to-day situations to explain the lessons.
