With the extension of the Enhanced Community Quarantine until May 15, Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) continue to open its virtual doors for students looking for internship opportunities while serving the country through education.
Senior high school and college students are invited to be a part of the Knowledge Channel Volunteer and Internship Program (KCVIP) “virtual internship” arrangement, where interns get to earn work experience without having to leave their homes during the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ). KCVIP is an award-winning program where interns go beyond collecting work hours and experience. They also get to learn from industry leaders and experts while engaging in worthwhile projects that contribute to the learning of Filipino children.
The following positions are currently open on an “internship from home” basis:
Graphic Artist and Animator
The Multimedia Arts Intern should be equipped with knowledge and skills in multimedia design and development. They should possess any of the following skills: drawing and sketching, graphic design, motion graphics, 2D animation and video production.

Marketing and Communication Intern (Social Media and Writer)
The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Marketing Department with a variety of social media, graphic design, events and marketing initiatives. Interns in this department may be students in multimedia arts, graphic design, development communications, mass communications, marketing, advertising, or journalism.

Research Mobilization Intern
The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Resource Mobilization Department in fund raising initiatives and looking for partnerships.

Web / Mobile Application Developer
The Information Technology Intern position is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain hands-on knowledge and develop solid IT skills by working on varied projects throughout the IT Department. Interns will develop mobile and web applications for database management and for possible use of public school teachers and learners all over the country.
- Academic Programs: Information Technology, Software Engineering, etc.
- Knowledge on PHP, MySQL, or Java Programming
The intern should possess strong and flexible oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, punctuality, and perseverance to learn from mistakes. In return, the intern would be mentored on how to conduct research in education and skills that would be relevant to project management.
