Be a part of the Philippines’ first and only curriculum-based channel and help us bring stories to life, as Knowledge Channel is looking for new Animators!
Newly hired animators will collaborate with developers and animate Department of Education-prescribed textbooks and children’s stories which will be distributed to public schools nationwide on-air via Knowledge Channel, online through their website and offline through the Knowledge Channel Portable Media Library.
KCFI intends to develop 1500 videos for the Basa Bilang Project intended for primary grade beginning reading and math in the next three years to help improve student proficiencies in these subjects which are the cornerstones of higher learning. By mastering the basics of reading and numeracy, pupils will be able to better understand higher grade subjects and topics.
The Basa Bilang Project helps Filipino primary grade students confidently read and do math so they can become independent learners, confident problem solvers, and critical thinkers by the end of Grade 3. To fulfill this need, our goal is to develop 1,500 animated learning videos for Grades 1-3 in Filipino, English, and Math, based on the Department of Education’s textbooks and daily budget of work. These videos will be distributed on Knowledge Channel’s various platforms on-air, online, and offline.
