The first 20 video lessons for “Ready, Set, Read!”, has already started airing with five episodes each have been produced for Grades 1 and 5, while 10 episodes were produced for Grade 3.
The series which utilizes songs, rhymes, dances, graphics and animation is based on DepEd’s Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELC) and Teacher’s Guides. Its narrative centers on discovery adventures of Joji, a kuya-teacher figure and his animal friends Marj (lizard), Ogot (goat), Cathy (cat), and Nene (beetle).
