The seventh Tulong Balik Eskwela distribution came about through Knowledge Channel Foundation’s partnership with First Philippine Holdings Corporation (FPHC). Volunteers from KCh and FPHC went to Manggahan Elementary School in Pasig City in order to give away school packs to students affected by the recent typhoon Ondoy.

Ms. Jacqueline Sarte and Ms. Dorothy Gonzales, both from FPHC, helped in organizing and planning the distribution program while Mr. Joey Callos assisted in coordinating with the school.

The turnover program and distribution started early in the morning and left the students with a renewed sense of happiness. Mr. Benjamin R. Lopez of First Philippine Holdings Corporation also delivered an inspiring message of support and encouragement during the program.

The goal of the Tulong Balik Eskwela program is to motivate students to continue going to school amidst difficulties brought by the recent typhoon Ondoy.
