John Christian Barrera, JC to his fellow volunteers, has been an OJT trainee under the Volunteer Management Department of KCFI since January 2010. His regular attendance, consistent participation in activities and leadership skills makes him a valuable addition to the foundation’s volunteer team. In the photo, JC is seen tutoring a student from Aurora Elementary School. It was taken during a series of tutorials conducted to help prepare Grade 6 students for their upcoming National Achievement Test (NAT).

Beyond the hours JC spends with Knowledge Channel, what is most notable is the heart and passion which takes over whenever he performs his duties. He shares his spirituality and love of country with his co-volunteers and everyone whom he works with.
