In an effort to reach more and teach more learners, Knowledge Channel Foundation (KCFI), along with SKY Direct and TV Patrol, have visited the island barangay of Pamarawan to give the Gift of Knowledge to their public elementary school. With a population of more than 400 learners, Pamarawan Elementary School lacked the educational equipment to access Knowledge Channel.
To support Pamarawan’s teachers and learners, KCFI and Kabayan Noli de Castro gave the “Gift of Knowledge” package which included a flat screen television, a SKY Direct satellite, a speaker system, and a portable media library with more than 1,000 educational resources including videos, e-modules, games, and more.
Aside from the educational package from KCFI, ABS-CBN’s Integrated Public Service and other partners also prepared activities, food, and school supplies.
